For the longest time I didn't fully love myself or my body. Looking at the magazines and what is portrayed in the media of women being "skinny" or extremely thin. And that was suppose to represent what is beautiful. They would all appear to be flawless.
That is what I desired. I would look in the mirror and believe I was fat, ugly, not worthy, not enough, striving to become something and someone who wasn't me. Even today at times I think to myself I'm slacking and need to be better, versus just accepting myself for who I am and where I am today in this moment.
We all do it. Sometimes we wake up feeling Badass, other days we may wake up feeling like a bum. But why do we allow ourselves to have those days where we do not feel full of life and joy? It is because we create false illusions in our mind that we are less than, when we are so much more.
